Clarence Williams Sr. attended Prairie View A&M University on a football scholarship, and then played in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers (1970-1977). His teammates called him "BIGCAT". Now Clarence is on a mission from heaven to help people facing difficulties in life, in particular older displaced workers, the chronically unemployed and unskilled youth wanting to better themselves by going to college or attend a trade school.
We are a nonprofit organization focused on providing access to information, education and training for disadvantaged people who are traditionally excluded from self-development and life skills learning. You can help us by giving money, in-kind donations or volunteering your time. We appreciate all contributions.
Commitment implies vision and purpose. The commitment of the BIGCAT 83 Education Fund is to create urban environments where everyone has the opportunity to dream. Please donate to provide the education and support necessary to turn dreams into reality.
Exposing inner-city youth and young adults to exciting jobs opportunities and career paths is what this culturally-connected Expo is all about. Research has determined the link between school and careers is largely absent for a vast majority of students from low-income households. The Green Jobs & Career Expo provides a strategic pathway for middle school and high school students to learn about professions and vocational occupations they might never have thought about. Students can apply for jobs and connect with local universities, colleges and trade schools. Your sponsorship of the Expos will increase the success of urban youth by making them more aware of career options and motivating them to succeed.
Your generous gift will help to fund 2018 Green Jobs & Career Expos in select cities across America. Together, we can make a difference by making a positive impact!
PLEASE DONATE TO MAKE OUR NEXT GREEN JOBS & CAREER EXPO A BIG SUCCESS! THANK YOU!
